What I do

Recent work includes the film commission Linda Fratianne for the CCA, Glasgow as part of the Walls of Light strand, which has included screenings at the GFT; and a solo show in October 2010 at The Embassy Gallery, Edinburgh, which saw an extension of my practice, exploring sculptural process and objects. I am currently working on a new screening installation for The Briggait, Glasgow, following an open call for international moving image work and have been shortlisted for the 2011 Margaret Tait film award.

Recent writing assignments include pieces on Kai-Oi Jay Yung, Rosemarie Trockel and Kate V Robertson, and a piece on cultural activities in San Francisco for Central Station.

Past work includes: the Alt-W/New Media Scotland funded A Million Lies; Once and Only Revealed After Death (Triangle of Need) developed during a Creative Lab residency at CCA, Glasgow and presented at Reveal/Reset, Inspace, August 2009, Edinburgh Art Festival and at Signal & Noise 10, Vancouver, Canada and my group show Heavy Influence presented at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, August 2009, Edinburgh Art Festival which featured artists from the UK and US.

Other recent shows include: Warehouse of Horrors, The Embassy Gallery at Swg3, Glasgow; I Am Kurious Orange, at David Cunningham Projects, San Francisco, USA; The Colony Room, New Langton Arts, San Francisco, USA and House/Lights at OPA 0.2 On Performance Art Festival at Bios, Athens, Greece.

During 2010–2011 I developed a series of performances, spoken work projects, sculptural objects, design experiments and videos accompanied by a series of editions, "fanzines" and loose leaf ephemera that forms a kind of magazine. This came as the result of professional development from Scottish Arts Council. The editions have been distributed internationally.
