Since the regional Amb:IT:ion networks merged during September the GetAmbITion team have been collecting together resources on the getambition.com website and nurturing this network. The objective being to create an online knowledge and peer support network for creative organisation driving forward to embrace digital technologies and sustainable working practices.
This is the fourth and final session in a series of “Amb:IT:ion LIVE online” events. Each one has been an opportunity to ‘have a go’ at online communication. There have been technology hicups along the way but those joining the chats have enjoyed the face to face element of video chat.
Amb:IT:ion LIVE online is under review for the new year.
Subjects for future discussion have been discussed with social media best practice raising interest along with digital and social media accessibility.
Scheduling times other than the 5-6 slot has also been proposed.
There has also been a suggestion for Pecha Kucha style sessions.
A what you ask?
Pecha Kucha is a presentation concept where content can be easily, efficiently and informally shown through a series of slides (usually a short powerpoint presentation). Under the format, a presenter shows 20 images for 20 seconds apiece, for a total time of 6 minutes, 40 seconds.
As we can share slideshows through slideshare.net directly in to Tokbox I’m liking this idea very much.
I must stress Tokbox is not a video conferencing or telecast platform it is a chat platform for small groups to get together, chat and share media.
